SAN ANTONIO — No. 17 Pomona-Pitzer men's tennis fell 4-0 to No. 6 Emory University at a neutral site Sunday afternoon.
Season Impact: The result puts the Sagehens at 14-10 on the season, including 5-2 in SCIAC play.
Pomona-Pitzer dropped two of its three doubles matches to lose the doubles point.
Luke Feng and
Sam English won on court two, 6-3. But
Drew Goldman and
Jay Mallampati dropped a close 7-5 battle in the top court, while
Neil Chulani and
Ethan Lee fell 6-2 on court three.
Lee then fell on court two in singles, 6-1, 6-3, before
Andrew Andea dropped a court three matchup, 6-4, 6-1. English then fell on court five, 6-3, 6-3, as the remaining three matchups concluded as unfinished and the Eagles won 4-0.
