LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer men's track and field had a number of strong performances Saturday at the Oxy Distance Carnival-Spring Break Classic. 
 
In the field events, William Marquart took second in the shot put with a mark of 15.42m. He also placed fourth in the discus with a 39.16m and seventh in the javelin with a mark of 44.55m. 
 
Oscar Roering placed fifth in the 800m after clocking in at 1:52.89. Jefferson Wright came in 12th in the 5000m with a time of 14:42.21.
