REDLANDS, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer women's track and field featured a number of strong performances en route to a fourth place team finish at the SCIAC Quad Cup Saturday.
Ella Bowers won the long jump after posting a mark of 5.55m, winning the event by 0.11m. Bowers also finished second in the triple jump after securing a mark of 11.53m.
Elsa Van Dyke took fourth with a 10.78m.
Natalia Cossio took fourth in the high jump with a clearance of 1.50m. In the javelin,
Logan Spoonemore finished second after throwing for 37.82m.
In the track events,
Fiona Bodkin posted a third-place finish in the 3000m steeplechase after racing a time of 11.20.90.
Mira Terdiman took second in the 1500m with a 4:47.12. Kat Kirkpatrick earned bronze in the 100m with a wind-aided time of 12.19. She also placed second in the 200m with a time of 24.97. In the 800m,
Eva Novy-Hildesley took fourth after clocking a 2:21.48.
Tania Rachidi finished fifth in the 5000m after clocking in at 18:29.68. The Sagehens wrapped up the day with a fifth-place finish in the 4x400m, with their "B" team posting a time of 4:13.53.
