RIVERSIDE, Calif. — The Pomona-Pitzer women's track and field team set a new program record in the 4x100m relay to highlight a strong showing at the UCR Invite Saturday.

Olivia Reichle,
Kensi Binstadt and Kat Kirkpatrick raced a time of 47.87 in the 4x100m, placing third. The quartet bested the previous program record of 48.11 set earlier this season.
Tania Rachidi placed second in the 800m, clocking in at 2:21.14. The Sagehens' 4x400m relay team of Kirkpatrick,
Anna Marston, Rachidi and Reichle also finished second with a time of 3:59.48.
In the high jump,
Natalia Cossio cleared a mark of 4' 11" to earn a third-place finish.
Logan Spoonemore (116' 10") and
Caiya Niewinski (115' 3") finished third and fourth, respectively, in the javelin.
Ella Bowers (37' 8.75") and
Felicia Akinde (35' 8") placed fifth and sixth in the triple jump, respectively.
