RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer men's track and field featured a series of personal bests and top finishes Saturday at the UCR Invite.
The Sagehens 4x100m relay team of
Kellen O'Rourke,
Gavin Doig,
Harrison Brown and
Chris Taylor posted the team's first event win of the day after clocking in at 41.46. Doig and Brown finished first and second, respectively, in the 100m after Doig ran a 10.91 and Brown a 10.95. Sam Butler placed fifth in the 200m with a time of 22.94.
In the hammer,
Omaru Konneh posted a personal-best mark of 128' 9" to place fourth. Will Marquart set a personal-best mark of 135' 6" in the discus to earn a seventh-place finish. Marquart finished second in the javelin (160' 3") while
John Goodwin followed in third after throwing for 148' 8".
In the triple jump,
Ryaan Amanat placed fifth with a mark of 41' 4.25" while
Erubey Lopez took sixth with a 39' 4".
