GREENSBORO, N.C. — Pomona-Pitzer women's swim & dive earned All-American honors in the 200-yard medley relay and 800-yard freestyle relay while
Izzy Yoon secured an All-American honorable mention nod in the 100-yard backstroke Friday on day three of the NCAA Swim & Dive Championships.
The Sagehens' Yoon,
Francesca Coppo,
Gabby Calvi and
Valerie Mello swam a time of 1:41.97 to finish sixth in the 200-yard medley relay and secure All-American honors.
Charlotte Dixon,
Maren Rusk,
Karolina Dzieciol and Mello also earned All-American honors in the 800-yard freestyle relay. Yoon then earned individual All-American honorable mention honors in the 100-yard backstroke, placing 10th with a time of 55.22.
Charlotte Dixon just missed out on the third alternate spot in the 100-yard backstroke prelims, placing 20th with a time of 56.14.
Amaia Sherman finished 38th after clocking a 57.35.
In the 200-yard butterfly prelims,
Karolina Dzieciol finished 29th with a time of 2:06.79.
Maren Rusk came in 36th with a 2:08.63 while Mary Louisa Leopold followed in 37th after clocking a 2:08.71.
Coppo placed 23rd in the 100-yard breaststroke prelims after clocking a 1:03.78, while
Elise Jones placed 31st (1:04.97) and Calvi took 33rd (1:05.19).
