GREENSBORO, N.C. — Casey Jacobs placed fifth in the men's 50-yard freestyle to earn All-American honors on day one of the 2025 NCAA Swim & Dive Championships.

Jacobs raced a time of 19.76 in the finals to place fifth after racing a program record 19.74 in the prelims. He broke his own program record of 20.05 set earlier this season and is now the first Sagehen ever to swim the event in under 20 seconds.

Kyle Huang finished 20th in the 200-yard IM prelims, just missing out on an alternate spot for the consolation final. He swam a personal-best time of 1:49.18, moving him into the No. 4 spot in program history.

As a team, the Sagehens currently sit in 21st place with a total of 14 points following day one of four of the NCAA Championships.
