VENTURA, CA. – The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Tennis team came away with a 9-0 win over Ventura College on Saturday afternoon.
Pomona-Pitzer started with all three doubles wins with
Drew Goldman and
Leo Rocca winning 6-3 at No. 1,
Neil Chulani and
Ethan Lee winning at No. 2 6-2 and
Luke Feng and
Sam English winning their match at No. 3 singles, 6-4.
The Sagehens went on to win in all two-set matches in singles as well. Goldman earned a victory at No. 1 7-6, 6-1 followed by Lee at No. 2 singles with a pair of 6-3 wins.
Andrew Andea won his match at No. 3 singles, 7-6, 5-2 with English and Feng doubling their wins on the day with scores of 6-4, 6-1 and 7-5, 6-2. Ending the day was
John Wehrle at No. 6 singles who won by the scores of 7-6, 6-2.
