LOS ANGELES — Pomona-Pitzer women's swim and dive defeated Occidental, La Verne and Caltech Saturday at Oxy.
Scored in three head-to-head matchups, the Sagehens outdueled La Verne 228-40, Oxy 227-62 and Caltech 209-81.
The Sagehens' 400y medley relay A team started the day with a win after racing a 4:03.21.
Ellie Burkhardt then won the 1000y free with a time of 10:47.66 before
Cassidy Schneider finished first in the 200y free with a 1:55.83.
Chesna Pelka won the 50y back with a 27.84 and
Francesca Coppo won the 50y breast with a 31.01.
Taylor Park secured the win in the 200y fly, racing a 2:09.54. Burkhardt posted another win in the 50y free with a 24.25 before Coppo secured another win in the 100y free, clocking a 53.07.
Amaia Sherman finished first in the 200y back with a 2:12.67 and
Amelia Barron won the 200y breast with a 2:30.77.
In the 500y free,
Charlotte Dixon won with a 5:23.02 while Pelka won the 50y fly with a 26.19. The Sagehens' 400y free relay B team won with a 3:35.68. In the 1m diving,
Lilly Gillespie finished first with a score of 276.05.
