CLAREMONT, CA — The Pomona-Pitzer women's cross country team placed third in the NCAA West Regional Championships on Saturday morning.
The Sagehens totaled 102 points with three runners in the top twenty. Pomona-Pitzer trailed behind CMS and Colorado College, who finished first and second place with 33 and 83 points, respectively.
Joya Terdiman led Pomona-Pitzer with a 8th place individual finish, running a time of 21:56.90. Eva Novy-Hildesley and Kendall Madine followed and finished 15th and 19th overall. Novy-Hildesley finished with 22:39.00 and Neid finished with a time of 22:46.50.
Fiona Bodkin followed in 22nd with a 22:50.60, Megan Walter took 38th with a 23:19.80, Kate Sherry secured 39th with a 23:20.90, and Maggie Avey placed 44 with an individual finishing time of 23:26.10.
