CLAREMONT, CA — The Pomona-Pitzer women's cross country team placed second at the SCIAC XC Championships Saturday Morning.

The Sagehens totaled 50 points in the competition with five runners finishing in the top 12. The team finished second behind CMS, who totaled 17 points.

Joya Terdiman led Pomona-Pitzer with a 4th place individual finish, running a time of 21:52.1. Eva Novy-Hildesley, Fiona Bodkin, and Kendall Madine followed and finished 9th, 11th, and 12th overall. Novy- Hildesley finished with 22:11.7, Bodkin with 22:28.6, and Madine finished with an individual running time of 22:36.2.

Maggie Avey placed 15^th with a 22:46.10, Megan Walter 19^th with a 22:55.8, Kate Sherry 20^th with a 22:55.9 and Lili Maycock with a 23:10. Destiny Osemwengie followed in 25^th with a 23:21.90, Ella Gary in 32^nd with a 23:51.50, Ameya Teli in 44^th with a 24:12.5 and Natasha Mei Ong in 52^nd with a 24:40.71.

Anna Macdonald finished 64^th with a 25:27.60, Rose Kohout 75^th with a 26:07.6, Magnolia Hougan 76^th with a 26:17.3 and Finn Rigby 104^th with a 30:08.00 to wrap up the Sagehen competitors.
