CLAREMONT, Calf. — Pomona-Pitzer women's swimming and diving defeated San Diego 186-113 and California Baptist 153.5-146.5 Saturday afternoon at Haldeman Pool.
 
The Sagehens started the day with a win in the 400y medley relay, with Izzy Yoon, Francesca Coppo, Mollie Appl and Ellie Burkhardt swimming a time of 3:53.77. Burkhardt then won the 200y freestyle with a 1:52.62, finishing nearly four seconds faster than second place. Appl won the 100y backstroke with a 57.04. 
 
Sabrina Wang clocked a 24.34 to win the 50y freestyle before Burkhardt posted another win in the 100y freestyle with a 51.71. Yoon secured a win of her own in the 200y backstroke after racing a 2:05.22. 
 
In the 100y butterfly, Appl finished first with a time of 57.04. The Sagehens then finished the day with a win in the 200y freestyle relay, as Wang, Chesna Pelka, Joy Lee and Coppo raced a time of 1:35.88.
