ROCK ISLAND, IL & RIVERSIDE, CA — The Pomona-Pitzer men's cross country team continued their season by placing 8th in the Augustana XC Invite in Illinois and 20th in the UCR Highlander Invite on Saturday Morning.

AUGUSTANA (IL) XC INVITE - 8TH PLACE

The Sagehens totaled 260 points in the thirty-six-team competition with two runners finishing in the top fifty. The team trailed two points behind Wisconsin Stevens Point, who totaled 258 points.

Jack Stein led Pomona-Pitzer with a 19th place individual finish, running a time of 24:49.9. Jefferson Wright, Peter Neid, and Amir Barkin followed and finished 23rd, 60th, and 64th overall. Wright finished with 24:52.1, Neid with 25:30.3, and Barkin finished with an individual running time of 25:31.8.

UCR HIGHLANDER INVITE - 20TH PLACE

The Sagehens totaled 532 points. The team finished nineteen points behind Southern Nevada, who totaled 513 points.

Tiernan Colby led Pomona-Pitzer with a 70th place individual finish, running a time of 24:56.0. John Bard, Connor Spellman, and Alejandro Stefan Rojas Pratt followed and finished 102nd, 144th, and 173rd overall. Brad finished with 25:22.1, Spellman with 25:50.9, and Stefan Rojas Pratt finished with an individual running time of 26:25.7.
