ROME, GA - Drew Goldman and Jay Mallampati opened their doubles ITA Cup campaign against Joshua Kim and Mukundh Boopathi of Johns Hopkins. The Sagehens fell behind early, dropping the first set 6-2, but responded with a strong 6-3 second set to force a tiebreaker. In the tiebreak, the Sagehens edged out the Bluejays 10-7 to win the match. The Sagehen duo will play in the ITA Cup Doubles quarterfinals Friday. 

Competing as an individual, Goldman fell 6-3, 6-3 in the Round of 16 to Alex Feies of Carnegie Mellon University in today's ITA Cup Singles First Round. 

 Goldman and Mallampati will take on Sebastian Mendoza and Edward Wang from Babson College tomorrow at 1:30 in the quarterfinals of the ITA Cup in Rome, GA. Follow the complete ITA Cup draws and livestream at the link below:
