DESTIN, FL — No. 13 Pomona-Pitzer men's golf finished the Golfweek October Classic in a tie for fourth place.
The Sagehens put together a magical Tuesday at Raven Golf Club, improving by 15 shots in a push that placed them in a tie for fourth. Last year's result did not phase the Sagehens as they persevered to a great finish among a tough field.
Sophomore
Andrew Lim led the charge, shooting a bogey-free 67 and tying his career low. His incredible consistency shined through as he moved up 45 spots on the individual leaderboard. Freshman
Aidan McGreen had a similarly special round, notching four birdies and draining a long eagle putt on the 11th. He came in with 68.
Senior
John Kim got into the red numbers in yet another consistent week. Kim continued to put together great results, and a top ten finish in a national event is just another example. Freshmen
Ken Cremers and
William Zhuang also put together some solid rounds, collecting six birdies on their way to a 72 and 73, respectively.
