CLAREMONT, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer men's swimming & diving defeated Redlands by a score of 179-99 Saturday afternoon at Haldeman Pool.
Season Impact: The win improves the Sagehens' head-to-head record to 6-0 versus SCIAC opponents this season.
Tommy Matheis started the meet off with a win in the 3m diving, scoring a 355.50. He also won the 1m diving event, scoring a 296.75.
The Sagehens' 400-yard medley relay team won the event with a time of 3:27.33.
Henry Cannon then secured the win in the 200-yard freestyle, racing a 1:44.52. In the 100-yard backstroke,
Diego Hodge won with a 52.80. Kenny Gordon then won the 200-yard butterfly with a 1:57.47.
Casey Jacobs won the 50-yard freestyle with a 20.51. Ian Conner placed first in the 100-yard freestyle with a 47.63.
Allen Chang then secured the win in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:11.86.
William Walz placed first in the 500-yard freestyle after racing a 4:54.33.
Gordon posted another win in the 100-yard butterfly after clocking in at 52.99.
Jack Christy won the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:17.75. The Sagehens' 200-yard freestyle relay team then placed first with a time of 1:25.04 to wrap up the meet.
