Sagehens Show Well at 16th Annual PLNU Invitational

SAN DIEGO, Ca. – The Pomona-Pitzer women's track and field team had a good showing at the 16th annual Point Loma Invitational over the weekend. The Sagehens will be back in action on March 30th when they go to CMS for a SCIAC Multi-Dual with CMS, Occidental, and Caltech. 
 
Meet Highlights
The Sagehens 4x100m relay team of Olivia Richards, Olivia Reichle, Kensington Binstadt, and Katriona Kirkpatrick took fourth in the event with a time of 49.04s. In the 100m, Richards led the team with a 15th place performance, running a 13.12 seconds with Nicole Player and Binstadt taking 17th and 18th, both running 13.21 seconds. Reichle took seventh in the 200, crossing the line in 26.65 seconds. In the 800m, Michaela Jones was the lone performer for the Sagehens but ran a 2:17.87 to finish in third overall. In the 100m hurdles, Kaitlyn Ulalisa took second with a time of 15.21 seconds. Kendrick Dahlin took 10th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:11.74. 
 
The 4 x 400m relay team of Kirkpatrick, Jones, Player, and Reichle combined for a time of 3:58.27 to win the event. 
 
Felicia Akinde took eighth in the long jump with a mark of 4.83m and took fourth in triple with a 10.15m jump.
