CHICAGO — Pomona-Pitzer women's swimming & diving earned a second-place finish Saturday at the D3 Shootout.
The Sagehens finished with a total of 599 points, placing second behind host University of Chicago (672) at the conclusion of the two-day meet.
Izzy Yoon collected Pomona-Pitzer's first event win of the meet, finishing first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 56.03. The Sagehens' 400-yard medley relay squad placed first after racing a time of 3:47.68. The 200-yard freestyle relay team also won its race, clocking a 1:33.72.
Pomona-Pitzer's 200-yard medley relay squad started the meet with a second-place finish, posting a time of 1:43.32. The Sagehens' mixed 400-yard freestyle relay team finished third, clocking a 3:17.71.
