LA VERNE, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer women's swimming & diving took down La Verne 245-27 and Occidental 232-56 Saturday in La Verne.
The Sagehens' 200-yard medley relay team tallied the team's first win of the day, racing a time of 1:49.11.
Andrea Bish recorded the team's first individual event win, taking first in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:08.09.
Charlotte Dixon then won the 200-yard freestyle with a 1:53.17.
Amaia Sherman won the 100-yard backstroke, clocking a 59.08.
Elise Jones won the 100-yard breaststroke after racing a 1:08.71.
Asha Bansal tallied a win in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:03.94. In the 50-yard freestyle,
May Ling Roberts took first with a 24.34.
Dixon recorded her second win of the day after racing a 54.31 in the 100-yard freestyle. Sherman also tallied her second win after posting a 2:08.60 in the 200-yard backstroke. Roberts won again as well, clocking a time of 2:22.78 in the 200-yard breaststroke.
Abby Raclaw won the 500-yard freestyle after posting a 5:19.67. Bansal finished first in the 100-yard butterfly, clocking a 58.25. She then won the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:16.00. The Sagehens' 400-yard freestyle relay team ended the day with a final swim win, posting a 3:40.21.
In the 1m diving event,
Yuxi Apel placed first after recording a score of 157.88.
