CHICAGO — Pomona-Pitzer men's swimming and diving earned a third-place finish Saturday at the D3 Shootout.
The Sagehens earned 571 total points, finishing behind host University of Chicago (689) and Washington University St. Louis (597.5) following the conclusion of the two-day meet.
Highlight performances included
Casey Jacobs, who won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.28.
Preston Kwon placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke after clocking a 55.60.
The Sagehens started the meet with a third-place team finish in the 200-yard medley relay, clocking a time of 1:30.77. Pomona-Pitzer also took third in the mixed 400-yard medley relay after racing a 3:43.59, and third in the men's 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:19.08. The Sagehens then placed third in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a 3:17.71.
