LA VERNE, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer men's swimming & diving defeated La Verne 209-36 and Occidental 173-99 Saturday in La Verne.
Theo Holtzman recorded the Sagehens' first event win of the day, placing first in the 1000-yard freestyle after racing a time of 9:57.56.
Parker Ewers then won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 51.78.
Jonathan Cong tallied a win in the 100-yard breaststroke, clocking a 58.60.
Allen Chang took first in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:58.24.
Evan Aballea then won the 100-yard freestyle with a 48.02.
Jack Christy won the 200-yard backstroke, racing a 1:56.95. Nate Levy secured the win in the 200-yard breaststroke with a 2:12.54.
Ewers tallied his second win of the day in the 100-yard butterfly, clocking a time of 51.36. In the 200-yard IM, Christy came in first with a 1:58.58. The Sagehens' 400-yard freestyle relay team won its event with a time of 3:12.70.
Liam Hochman swept both the 1m and 3m diving events, recording a score of 245.63 in the 1m and a 222.98 in the 3m.
