LA VERNE, Calif. — The Pomona-Pitzer women's swimming & diving team placed sixth out of 16 teams at the Winter Collegiate Swim Invite.
Mary Louisa Leopold tallied the Sagehens' first top-three individual finish of the meet in the 100-yard butterfly, racing a finals time of 56.68.
Francesca Coppo took fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke after clocking in at 1:04.86.
May Ling Roberts followed Coppo in fifth place with a 1:05.61.
Izzy Yoon earned a second-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke, posting a finals time of 56.68. Yoon also finished second in the 200-yard backstroke, coming in at 2:01.22.
Charlotte Dixon followed in fourth with a 2:04.13.
Bennett Jones took third in the 1650-yard freestyle after speeding time a time of 17:31.43.
Pomona-Pitzer's 200-yard freestyle relay team placed third overall, racing a time of 1:34.76. The Sagehens' 800-yard freestyle relay squad took fifth overall, coming in at a time of 7:47.62.
In the diving events,
Charlotte Friedman earned a fifth-place finish with a score of 211.20 in 1m diving.
