CLAREMONT, CA. — Pomona-Pitzer women's swimming & diving defeated Cal Lutheran Saturday at Haldeman Pool by a final score of 199-101.
The Sagehens' 200y medley relay squad posted the first swim event win of the day, winning the race with a time of 1:48.23.
Charlotte Dixon then secured the team's first individual event win in the 200y freestyle, racing a 1:56.09.
Izzy Yoon followed with a win in the 100y backstroke after posting a time of 58.39.
Gabby Calvi won the 100y breaststroke with a time of 1:08.65.
Francesca Coppo then finished first in the 50y freestyle with a time of 24.19.
Valerie Mello won the 100y freestyle with a 52.70. In the 200y backstroke,
Mollie Appl won after racing a 2:09.53.
May Ling Roberts secured a win in the 200y breaststroke, clocking in at 2:28.85. Calvi posted her second win of the day in the 100y butterfly after racing a 59.27.
Bennett Jones won the 400y IM, posting a 4:40.68. The Sagehens' ended the swimming events with a win in the 200y freestyle relay, clocking a 1:42.59.
In the diving events,
Charlotte Friedman won the 1m competition with a score of 251.18.
Pomona-Pitzer will next compete at the D3 Shootout hosted by the University of Chicago next weekend, Nov. 8-9.
