BREA, CA. — Pomona-Pitzer men's cross country won its fourth consecutive SCIAC Championship Saturday behind a second-place individual finish from
Cameron Hatler.
The Sagehens totaled 24 points to secure the team win, finishing ahead of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (50) and Caltech (98). Pomona-Pitzer featured three competitors in the top-four, and seven in the top-11.
Hatler led the way for the Sagehens in the 8k with a time of 24:20.30, while
Quinn White followed in third with a time of 24:38.40 and
Jack Stein in fourth with a 24:42.60.
Peter Neid and
Owen Kobett also placed in the top-10 individually, with Neid running a 24:56.40 to take seventh and Kobett clocking a 25:02.21 to place eighth.
Jefferson Wright finished 10th after running a 25:15.90.
Evan Villano took 11th individually, clocking a time of 25:18.40 and wrapping up the Sagehens' top-seven competitors.
Up Next: The Sagehens will compete at the NCAA D3 West Regionals on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Milo McIver State Park in Estacada, Oregon.
