12/2/2023 8:10:00 PM

CLAREMONT, Ca. – The Pomona-Pitzer men's swim and dive team fought to a 194-158 victory over the Stags of CMS in their annual rivalry dual meet across the street. The Sagehens victory brings excitement to the Pomona-Pitzer pool deck as this is the first time the men and women have defeated CMS in the rivalry dual in the same year together since the 1980's. The Sagehens accomplished the feat in impressive fashion, earning 11 NCAA B Cut times across the two days while setting pool records in the 200 IM, 400 IM, 200 Free, 100 Breast, and 200 Back. Pomona-Pitzer will take a bit of a break, returning to action on January 6th when they host the Whittier Poets for a dual at 10:30 a.m. in Haldeman Pool.
