CLAREMONT, CA. – The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Swim and Dive Team were victorious over University of La Verne on Saturday afternoon with flying colors, outscoring the Leopards 232-34. The Hens secured a first-place finish in every event, with Lukas Ming Menkhoff, Bilguun Altantulkhuur, Liam O'Shea, and Mark Hallman securing two No. 1 finishes each.

Altantulkhuur won both the 1 and 3-meter diving events, scoring 218.30 and 180.70, respectively.

In the swimming events, Pomona-Pitzer's Team B took first place in the 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 1:36.65. The team comprised of Peter Hansen, Menkhoff, Greg Havton, and Nick Borowsky. In the distance events, Jack Swanson took first by 25 seconds at 16:30.65 over teammate Zachary Senator who came in at 16:55.16. Freshman Tyler Carmichael won the 500 Freestyle at 4:58.10.

Hallman's first victory came in the 200 Freestyle at 1:44.26, beating second place finisher and teammate Erik Garcia by more than two seconds. Hallman won the 200 Butterfly at 1:59.19, outracing second place finisher and teammate Spencer Satz by more than three seconds.

Nick Borowsky took first in the 50 Backstroke at 26.28 and Nick Lewis won the 50 Breaststroke at 27.30. Adrian Hui sealed the 50 Freestyle at 21.41 and near the end, Conner Wells won the 100 Breaststroke at 1:01.68.

Menkhoff continued his impressive run in the 100 Freestyle, taking first again at 45.70. He later won the 50 Butterfly at 23.04.

O'Shea took the top spot in the 100 Backstroke at 54.02, defeating La Verne's Lorenzo DeLeon by more than two seconds. He also crossed first in the 200 Individual Medley at 1:55.25.

In the final event of the afternoon, Pomona-Pitzer Team A, featuring Hansen, Satz, Hallman, and Samuel To, took first in the 200 Freestyle Relay at 1:26.28.
