RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Sagehens won the 200 yard freestyle relay, but the No. 22 Pomona-Pitzer Men's Swimming and Diving team fell to Division II Cal Baptist Saturday afternoon, 159-103.
Daniel To led Pomona-Pitzer to a win in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 52.40. Mark Rusznak came in third (56.62).
Adrian Hui took home a win in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 21.51.
The Sagehens took the top two spots in the 200 yard backstroke with Erik Garcia winning the race (1:56.92) and Daniel To taking second (1:57.96).
Danny Villars won the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 52.28. The Sagehens finished the meet with a win in the 200 yard freestyle relay (1:25.86) on a team made up of Hui, Villars, Samuel To, and Nick Lewis.
Pomona-Pitzer took second places finishes by Teddy Koerner in the 100 yard backstroke (59.41) and 200 yard backstroke (2:11.38) and Will Abele in the 500 yard freestyle (4:47.64).
Liam O'Shea finished third in the 1650 yard freestyle with a time of 16:53.45.
In diving, Jeremy Goldberg took third in the one meter with a score of 185.47, and third in the three meter with a score of 163.28.
Next Meet: The Sagehens compete next on November 12 in a 2 p.m dual meet at Whittier College.
