Women's Track & Field: Sagehens Finish SCIAC Season With 10 All-Conference Awards

CLAREMONT, CA. – After a successful showing at the SCIAC Track & Field Championship on April 28, the Pomona-Pitzer Women's Track & Field Team took home 10 All-SCIAC Honors with junior Vicky-Marie Addo-Ashong winning three. This was a significant milestone as the Sagehens won twice as many All-SCIAC awards than they did last season.  

Addo-Ashong seized the spotlight on the field, winning the Triple Jump at 38-7.75 and High Jump at 5-3.75 for her two field All-SCIACs. She also earned an All-SCIAC in the 100m Hurdles after finishing third at 14.46 seconds, a top-10 mark in the nation.

Lauren Hamilton won two All-SCIACs, winning the 10000 Meter Run at 37:30.35 and taking second in the 5000 Meter at 17:55.10.

Quin Fraley made waves as the Newcomer of the Year and winning an All-SCIAC for a second place finish the 400 Meter Dash at 57.59. She also ran the anchor for the 4x400 Relay team alongside Tessa Fujisaki, Sophie Richards, and Rosie Linkus, all of whom won All-SCIAC for taking second at 4:00.04.

Helen Guo took an All-SCIAC after finishing first in the 5000 Meter Run at 17:50.14. Genevieve DiBari won All-SCIAC for her third place finish in the 1500 Meter Run at 4:45.75 and Rosie Linkus earned her All-SCIAC after a second place finish at the 800 Meter Run at 2:16.63.
