PASADENA, CA. -- The Pomona-Pitzer Women's Golf team finished in second place at the SCIAC II tournament on Saturday and Sunday afternoon at Brookside.
The Sagehens finished in second place in both the first SCIAC I and the SCIAC II positioning them in second place in points heading into the SCIAC Championship.
Pomona-Pitzer finished with a final score of 627, which was just behind CMS who won the SCIAC II with a score of 609. Chapman finished in third at 643, Cal Lutheran took fourth at 654 and Redlands rounded out the top-five with a score of 656.
The Sagehens were led by Gabrielle Herzig who finished inside the top-five at fourth overall with a 77 in round one and a team-low 75 in round two for a score of 152.
Sophia Hui also landed inside the top-10 with an eight place finish as she shot a consistent 82 in both rounds of the SCIAC II for a score of 156.
Priscilla Ki finished tied for 13th with a 79 in round one and an 81 in round two for a score of 160 and Catherine Lott was the fourth Sagehen to finish with a top-20 score as she shot an 85 in round one but came back with a 77 in round two for a 162 overall score. Andi Chaloult was the last Sagehen to score as she took 25th overall with a 93 in round one and a 78 in round two for a score of 171.
