Women's Golf: Sagehens Take Fifth At Westbrook Invitational

PEORIA, AZ. – The Pomona-Pitzer Women's Golf team finished in fifth place at the George Fox Westbrook Invitational on Saturday and Sunday afternoon at the Westbrook Village Golf Club.

The Sagehens finished in fifth place with a score of 617, which was just three strokes away from fellow SCIAC school Redlands University who finished in fourth with 614.

Pomona-Pitzer also set a school course record as they shot the lowest round in school history at the Westbrook Invitational. 

Pomona-Pitzer was led by Jennifer Kim who led the Sagehens in a tie for 13th place over as she shot a 78 in round one and a 76 in round two for an overall score of 154.

Right behind Kim was Andi Chaloult and Catherine Lott who tied each other in 16th place overall. Chaloult finished with an 82 and a 73 while Lott shot an 81 and a 74 for an overall score of 155.

Valerie Wang finished in a tie for 20th overall as she shot a 77 in the first round and a 79 in round two for a score of 156 and Sophia Hui also finished inside the top-25 as she shot an 81 and a 77 for a final score of 158.
