Claremont, Calif. - Despite a strong 17-point, 7-rebound effort from junior Basha Brulee-Wills, Pomona-Pitzer's women's basketball team fell to Transylvania at home in Voelkel Gym Friday night in the 2015-16 season opener for both teams.
The visiting Pioneers (1-0) edged out to a 22-18 lead after the first quarter behind Katelyn Smith's 10 points, and held a 35-30 halftime lead.
