Men's Tennis: Sagehens Fall To CMS In SCIAC Final

CLAREMONT, CA. – The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Tennis Team concluded their season with a 5-0 loss to the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Stags in the SCIAC Final on Saturday afternoon at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center.

The Sagehens got swept in the doubles round as Octave Bellet de Giacomoni and Joshua Gearou fell to Julian Gordy and Nikolai Parodi 8-3 in no. 1 doubles. Avery Bicks and Charlie Stark fell to Oscar Burney and Daniel Park in no. 2 doubles 8-4. Jed Kronenberg and Nils Skattum followed with an 8-4 loss to Robert Liu and Jack Katzman in no. 3 doubles.

Julian Gordy took the fourth point with a 6-2 and 6-0 win over Gearou in no. 3 singles. Nic Meister clinched the match with a 6-3 and 6-1 win against Jansen Comadena in no. 6 singles.
