At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed his fourth season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Tennis team.
2017: All-American… First Team All-SCIAC…. ITA Senior of the Year…. Posted a 17-3 record in singles play his senior year while also going 14-8 in doubles play with teammates Spencer Simonides and Graham Maassen. Yasgoor ended his season with the Sagehens with a win in the Round of 32 of the Division III West Regional Championships with a win in his match over CMS. Yasgoor ended the year with the No. 6 singles rankings according to ITA Tennis. Yasgoor also earned First Team All-SCIAC all four years as a Sagehens
2016: First-Team All-SCIAC... Ended the year with a 14-12 overall singles record where he fell in the Round of 32 in the Division III NCAA Tournament...Earned the Player To Watch for 2017 given by the ITA. He also played doubles where he posted a 16-6 record.
2015: First-Team All-SCIAC...Had a 13-4 record in singles and a 15-3 mark in doubles before being lost for the season with an injury, playing mostly at No. 2 in both...Named Division3Tennis.com West Region Player of the Week after a stretch that included singles-doubles sweeps over No. 6 Trinity (Texas), No. 12 Case Western, No. 13 Carnegie Mellon and No. 18 Bowdoin...Earned a 6-3, 6-1 win against No. 3 Middlebury...Also had straight set wins over No. 13 Chicago and No. 14 Williams...Only Division III singles losses came against teams in the top two in the country (CMS twice and Amherst), as well as one against NAIA Point Loma Nazarene (while playing No. 1 singles).
2014: ITA West Region Rookie of the Year...First-team All-SCIAC...Finished with a 17-6 singles record, tops on the team, primarily playing at No. 2 (moving up to No. 1 in the postseason)...Also had a 7-1 record in doubles, including 4-0 at the Ojai Valley Independent College Doubles Championship, finishing in first place...Won a two-set match at No. 1 singles against Texas-Tyler in the NCAA Regionals...Earned wins against No. 4 Amherst, No. 11 Carnegie Mellon, No. 13 Bowdoin and No. 18 Cal Lutheran (twice)...Took the first set against No. 1 CMS in the NCAA Regional finals, but the match was unfinished after CMS clinched the team win.
High School: Attended Chaminade High School in West Hills, California, where he was a member of the tennis team…National Honors Society…Three-time team MVP, Coach's Award winner, 170-24 set record throughout all four years…First-team All-CIF…Mission League Player of the Year…Mission League first team four times, and a Mission League individual finalist two times…Represented Chaminade in the annual Ojai tournament by getting to the quarterfinals…Had best win over UC Irvine standout Justin Agbayani.
Personal: Attends Pitzer College, where he majors in organizational studies…Has an older sister…Part of a tennis-playing family…Grandfather played tennis his entire life, while his father, Scott, played at Colorado and his uncle played at San Diego State.
