Swim & Dive: Sagehens Compete at Day 1 of NCAA Diving Regionals

GRINELL, IOWA. – The four diving representatives of the Pomona-Pitzer Swim & Dive program competed at the NCAA Division III Regional Meet on Friday afternoon as Ruby Epstein competed in the Women's 3-Meter Dive and Jem Stern, Ben Willett, and Bilguun Altantulkhuur competed in the men's 1-Meter.

The first year Epstein made her NCAA Regional debut and performed exceptionally, finishing in ninth place with a final score of 351.00. Sophia Wojdylo of Grinnell College won the regional at 408.05.

Over in the Men's 1-Meter, Jem Stern scored the highest among the Sagehens with a total score of 430.70, placing fifth overall. Ben Willett followed in seventh at 419.80, and Altantulkhuur took 11th at 383.90. Lucas Bumgarner of Emory University.
Up Next: The Sagehens will compete again tomorrow as the men compete in the 3-meter and Epstein will compete in the 1-meter.
