CoSIDA Names Mark Hallman To Academic All-American

CLAREMONT, CA. – The College Sports Information Directors of America named Mark Hallman of the Pomona-Pitzer Men's Swimming & Diving program to the Google Cloud Academic All-America At-Large Team. This award is given to the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The recently-graduated Hallman took home Second Team Academic All-America.

Hallman graduated Pomona College this past year with a degree in computer science and physics with a 3.68 GPA. He led the Sagehens to a 7-1 dual meet mark and helped them win their first SCIAC title in 2018. Hallman took All-American honors for the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle events at the NCAA National Championships. He also earned the accolade in the 200-yard, 400-yard, and 800-yard freestyle relays and the 400-yard medley relay.
