Personal: Attends Pomona College, where he majors in biology and minors in politics…Hobbies include biking, reading, playing piano, attending musical theater productions and following sports (particularly Minnesota teams)…Favorite athletes include Katie Ledecky, Brian Dozier and Zach Parise…Moneyball is his favorite book and Les Miserables and The Sound of Music are his favorite movies…Hopes to earn a PhD in biology…Served at Jones-Harrison Residences, an assisted living facility, every week in high school, playing piano for residents, meeting residents on a 1:1 basis and developing meaningful, personal relationships with residents…Served on the Board of Directors of Minnesota Swimming as the Athlete Committee Vice Chairman between April 2014 and April 2015, and continues to be active as an Athlete Representative for Minnesota Swimming and USA Swimming…Chose Pomona because it “offers an outstanding liberal arts education and will give me the opportunity to explore a variety of my academic interests from mathematics to politics. PPSD is also a tight-knit swim team, which I look forward to being a part of in my four years here. Pomona's location in Southern California doesn't hurt either!”
