Men's Golf: Sagehens End SCIAC II With Sixth Place Finish

ANAHEIM, CA. – The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Golf team finished in sixth place in the SCIAC II Tournament at Oak Quarry Golf Course.

The Sagehens finished with an overall score of 619, which was tied with fellow SCIAC school Occidental and 10 strokes away from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Cal Lutheran who tied for fourth at 609.

 Leading the Sagehens was Conor Rooney who finished inside the top-10 with a tie for eighth place as he shot a consistent two rounds of 75 and 74 for a final score of 149.

Also recording a top-20 finish was Gilbert Chang who ended in a tie for 19th as he shot an 80 in round one and a 74 in round two for a score of 154.

Right behind Chang was Jack Carrigan who finished in a tie for 22nd with a score of 155 as he shot a 79 in round one and a 76 in round two.

Owen Rosebeck ended the tournament in a tie for 36th overall as he shot a 78 and an 83 for a score of 161 and David Song ended the day for Pomona-Pitzer with an 82 and an 85 for a final score of 167.
