To, a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men's Swimming and Diving team, adds another academic honor to his already impressive resume. He was Academic All-SCIAC in 2016 and 2017 and a CSCAA First Team Scholar All-American 2016, 2017. Additionally, To was recently named the Male Scholar Athlete of the Year at the Pomona-Pitzer All-Awards BBQ.
In the pool, To has earned NCAA All-American honors in each of the last two seasons and holds two individual school records and is a part of four relay school records. He is also a two-time individual SCIAC champion, five-time relay conference champion and was SCIAC All-Conference 2015, 2016 and 2017. To was also a recipient of the Pomona College Arvid Pierre Zetterberg Award ('16), Amgen Scholar Recipient from Columbia University, a Ted Mullin Fund Scholar ('17) and a two-time Pomona College Scholar (Fall '14, Fall '15).
Coyiuto has been a three-year team captain of the Sagehens' Women's Tennis team. Coyiuto was named Female Scholar Athlete of the Year at the Pomona-Pitzer All-Awards BBQ, and was this week named the West Region recipient of the ITA/Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship Award for her outstanding contributions outside of the tennis court.
The senior's accomplishments spread to the court as well as she has been ranked regionally and/or nationally every year of her collegiate career. Coyiuto also earned First Team All-SCIAC honors four years in a row.
As covered in her NCAA Champion feature, she has already written and published five books, founded a creative writing workshop for high school students, as well as an entire library, back in her home country of the Philippines.
